You understood the concept of transfer as something that can goes from one subject to another? interesting...I haven't thoight about it in that way... Maybe if one of my students is interested in art I can make a connection between that subject and the content I want him or her to internalize so that he can transfer things he has already stored in his long term memory in both directions...That would make it easier and funnier for him...nice! They can not comprehend ideas alone, but with the appropriate assistance of teachers, the idea might be understood. Vygotsky called this concept the zone of proximal development. Cross-curricular objectives is another important topic. The importance of contextualizing English as part of our every day life is crucial. English is connected with everything rather than being just a subject in isolation.
